Belfast’s Carl Frampton has confirmed that, former European Light Middleweight Champion, Jamie Moore is his new trainer.

Former two weight world champion, Frampton, recently split with Shane McGuigan and ended his affiliation with Cyclone Promotions sparking widespread speculation on who he would link up with next.

Frampton lost his unbeaten record in January in a re-match with Leo Santa Cruz before seeing a homecoming fight with Andres Gutierrez called off at the eleventh hour after his opponent suffered a freak accident in the shower.

Frampton still harbors hopes of fighting at Windsor Park and recapturing a world championship, something he clearly believes he can accomplish with Moore by his side.

Speculation continues to circle on who "The Jackal" will ink a promotional pact with but it would appear Eddie Hearn and the opportunities that can be offered by Sky Sports are the current front runner.
