Nick Durandt Killed In Motor Cycle Accident

Nick Durandt, South Africa’s most famous trainer and manager and successful boxing trainer has been killed in a motor cycle accident, he was 53 years old.

 

Durandt, a strict disciplinarian, trained many fighters to world titles including Thulani “Sugarboy” Malinga, Cassius Baloyi, Silence Mabuza, Isaac Hlatshwayo, Jacob Mofokeng, Jeffrey Mathebula, Malcolm Klassen, Siphiwe Nonqayi, Hawk Makepula, Zolani Tete and Moruti Mthalane.

Durandt was named South Trainer and Manager of the year five times.
