Weights From Nyköping.

Erik Skoglund (23-0, 11 KOs) and his opponent Derek Edwards (27-5-1, 14 KOs) both made weight today ahead of their ten-round light heavyweight clash on Saturday night in Sweden.

Skoglund aims to continue his World title charge by defeating Edwards, the only man to have beaten current Swedish World Champion Badou Jack, in front of his home fans at the Rosvalla Arena in Nyköping.

Light Heavyweight – 10 Rounds:

Erik Skoglund: 78.8 kg

Derek Edwards: 78.4 kg

Swedish Olympian and undefeated pro Anthony Yigit (15-0-1, 6 KOs) provides chief support for Skoglund’s bout with an eight-round light welterweight contest against former World Champion DeMarcus Corley (42-24-1, 25 KOs).

Light Welterweight – 8 Rounds:

An action packed undercard features heavyweight hope Otto Wallin (13-0, 10 KOs) versus the Serbian giant Samir Kurtagic (12-7, 8 KOs), fan favourite Oscar Ahlin (12-1, 10 KOs) taking on the tough Russian Varazdat Chernikov (10-3, 5 KOs) and rising Swedish stars Sven Fornling (8-0, 5 KOs), Hampus Henriksson (1-0, 1 KO), Patricia Berghult (professional debut) and Daniel Hartvig (5-0, 2 KOs).
