Nietes Becomes 3 Time World Champ

Donnie Nietes, 40-1-4-(22) became a three time world champion on Saturday night when he scored a 12 round unanimous decision win over Komgrich “Eaktawan” Nantapech, 22-4-(15) at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in Cebu City, Philippines.

 

The scores were 117-111, 117-111 and 115-113.

On the same card featherweight Mark Magsayo, 16-0-( 12) knocked out Issa Nampepeche, 24-8-4, (11) in the first round
