Lomachenko Becomes Two weight Champ

WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, 6-1-(3), became a two-weight world champion by defeating WBO super featherweight titleholder Rocky Martinez, 29-2-2-(17), with an eye catching five round knockout on Saturday night at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

 

The Olympic gold medallist defeated dominated Martinez with speed and movement before stepping up the pace and knocking him out with a left uppercut and right hook after 1.09 of the fifth round.
