War on the Shore XI in Cleveland tomorrow night

Gedeon Promotions’ "War on the Shore" series will resume this Saturday night at the historic LaSalle Theater in Cleveland, OH with a full card of amateur and professional boxing.  

 

The card will be in association with the promoter of record, Gionta Management LLC. 

 

The Fall Brawl event will be the second co-promotion by Cleveland’s Gedeon and Gionta of Pittsburgh. 

 

"We had a great start this past June with a full night of exciting fights," said Derek Gionta. 

 

"Bryan (Gedeon) has a number of current and aspiring pros training in his gym and we look forward to this series continuing while developing them in their hometown."

 

The card will headline six professional fights, with heavyweights DaJuan Calloway (7-3, 7 KOs) of nearby Warrensville Heights, OH and Willie Jake Jr (11-4-2, 3 KOs) of Indianapolis locking horns in a six rounder.  

 

Calloway has stepped up in competition a few times and looks to rebound from a tough loss on ESPN this past August.  

 

Cleveland’s Nick Rezek will make his debut against North Carolina native Dillon Schimmel (1-0) in a four rounder at a contracted weight of 165 lbs.

 

Schimmel won his debut on the June Pro-Am at the same venue.  

 

Jordan Gruszewski (1-0), of Cleveland will take on awkward MMA vet Deven Paulsen (0-2) of Anchorage, Alaska in a four-rounder at a contracted weight of 185 lbs. 

 

Female junior lightweight Margaret Whitmore of Cleveland will make her debut against Michigan’s Trinity Stone (0-2).  Whitmore had an active amateur career and looks to continue on through the pro ranks.

 

A pair of junior middleweight debutants in Hamza Abedrabo of Cleveland and Jacob Earls of Cincinnati will meet in a four rounder in the lone all-Ohio matchup of the night. 

 

Featherweight Joe Collins (4-0, 4 KOs) of West Virginia will look to continue his knockout streak against Canada’s David Ryan Firlotte (0-2) in a four-round matchup.

 

The evening will start off with ten amateur fights (listed below).
