This coming Sunday, the International Boxing Hall of Fame will welcome its 2023 inductees.

Legendary Las Vegas-based promotional firm, Top Rank Boxing, founded by Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum, is set to welcome 2 more of their staff, and one of their former fighters, into the famed, Canastota, New York boxing shrine.

The 2 new inductees, Top Rank Chief Operating Officer Brad Jacobs and matchmaker Brad Goodman will join Arum, publicists Lee Samuels and Irving Rudd, and matchmakers Teddy Brenner and Bruce Trampler. Also, joining the newest non-participant inductees is former Top Rank fighter, world champion, and now ESPN ringside analyst Timothy Bradley.

Brad Jacobs has been in boxing for over 4 decades, initially managing a promotional firm out of his native Florida. He then spent a dozen years as the senior programming consultant for USA Network’s Tuesday Night Fights series, a massively popular TV staple that launched the careers of many prospects along with featuring established stars. Jacobs then joined forces with boxing legend Roy Jones as the senior advisor for his promotional firm, Square Ring, Inc. from 2000 to 2006. Finally, Jacobs, one of the most highly respected people in the sport, joined Top Rank as their COO in 2010.

Brad Goodman joined Top Rank 40 years ago in Top Rank’s New York City offices in 1983. Goodman, a New York native, who still sports a thick, instantly recognizable Brooklyn accent, tutored under matchmaking legends Bruce Trampler and Teddy Brenner. Goodman eventually followed the company out to Las Vegas where he quickly started to build a great reputation for matchmaking Top Rank fighters on some of their smaller casino shows. He eventually moved into a full-time matchmakers role with the company 2 decades ago, working with Trampler, and has guided the careers of some of their biggest stars and burgeoning prospects.

Former world champion Tim Bradley, (33-2-1, 13 KOs), is no stranger to fight fans. He fought for a decade with Top Rank squaring off against the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Ruslan Provodnikov, among others. Bradley, an aggressive action fighter, was seldom (if ever) in a dull fight. In retirement, Bradley joined ESPN as a boxing analyst and has been a familiar voice, and face, on the mic at Top Rank shows ever since.

Three more deserving legends join boxing’s most famous hall.

Jacobs, Goodman, and Bradley will join fellow inductees Rafael Marquez, Carl Froch, Alicia Ashley, Laura Serrano, Seth Abraham, Tim Ryan, and Joe Goosen.

Along with posthumous inductees Tiger Jack Fox, Pone Kingpetch, and JoAnn Hagen.

On behalf of MaxBoxing - Congratulations!
