"That journey starts now."

Young Dylan "El Amenaza" Capetillo certainly has a golden future.
The 3-time WBC amateur champion is set to make his pro debut next month for his new promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, and his "Golden Boy Promotions".
If you can attract the attention of De La Hoya, a superstar amateur and professional boxer, you must be doing something right.
Boxing since the age of 8, Capetillo shows a maturity and devotion to his craft that belies his age. Finding a place to train was never a problem for the well-spoken, polite young man. His mother, Griselda, and father, Jorge, run the popular "Capetillo Boxing Gym" in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If there was ever a sport that required devotion and dedication, it is boxing. What might separate Dylan from other aspiring professionals is the maturity and unwavering commitment he has made to the sport that has been his life for most of his life.
A well-spoken, good-looking Mexican-American who can fight, with a superstar promoter backing him - the sky could be the limit for the Las Vegas-born and raised resident.
In a recent presser, promoter De La Hoya was clearly excited to introduce his latest signing.
"I’ve signed many fighters, but I want to introduce Dylan Capetillo, who will be making his pro debut March 14th,", he said. "He hails from Las Vegas. I’ve never helped a fighter who is from Las Vegas win a world title. He will be the first born and bred fighter from Las Vegas to be Golden Boy’s world champion", he continued. "Let’s give him a round of applause".
Also entering the conversation from his training camp was heavyweight Tyson Fury, who was quick to congratulate Dylan, whom he has known since he was a young boy.
"Congratulations Oscar, you just signed the best prospect in world boxing", he said. "Congratulations, brother, I am looking forward to your debut. I want to see an exciting knockout", he said.
"Thank you - I will, I promise", a smiling Capetillo said to Fury.
And addressing the assembled media, Capetillo said, "I have been boxing my whole life, I began competing at the age of 8, I was just a kid with a dream of becoming a world champion and one of the greatest Mexican fighters to ever step in the ring", he said. "That journey starts now".
