Tri-Star Boxing has made a habit of mixing Bourbon & Boxing in Oak Grove, KY and now looks forward to mixing “The Sweet Science” with microbrew and moonshine. On July 1, Tri-Star Boxing visits Ole Smoky Distillery & Yee-Haw Brewery for an intoxicating line-up of professional boxing in Nashville.

The nine-bout card will feature a variety of talents from Tennessee and surrounding states. Eight undefeated prospects will be in action along with one boxer making his professional debuts.

Ryan Shaw, 4-0 (4), continues his professional campaign in the flyweight ranks. The Nashville native credits Sugar Ray Leonard and Ricardo Lopez as his boxing inspirations. Shaw demonstrated the flair and technicality in his recent outings to make both icons proud. Although still growing in experience, Shaw possesses great poise and hasn’t rushed his work seeking a stoppage. However, he has found them so far. Shaw takes on Jayson Santana in a four-round affair.

“Santana is coming to win and that’s the type of guy I want to fight,” Shaw commented. “Those are the guys I train for. The only way to the top is to put yourself in challenging situations. The better the opposition, the better I am. I believe in myself and I believe in the vision. It’s Shawtime!”

Nashville Lightweight Larry Donald, 5-0 (3), scored a second-round stoppage in January and seeks to keep his momentum rolling. Donald is scheduled for four-rounds of action. Miguel Gomez from Antioch, TN will compete in his second professional bout after winning a decision in Murfreesboro in April. Gomez, also a lightweight, is scheduled for four rounds in a separate bout.

Unbeaten DeMichael Harris, who fights under the Greg Cohen Promotional banner, returns to Tennessee for the second time in as many bouts as he is scheduled for a six-round bout at super featherweight. Harris, 6-0-1 (6), scored a first-round TKO over Julio Garcia in Murfreesboro, TN back in April.
