Taylor and Lopez look ready to go.
They’ve been talking trash for months. The time to back it up is almost here.
Defending junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor and challenger Teofimo Lopez made weight for tomorrow’s showdown at the Theater in Madison Square Garden.
Taylor shouted at Lopez and looked edgy, while the former lightweight titleholder remained calm. He stared at Taylor - who pointed. The bout is extremely important for both fighters. Taylor wants to prove he’s the best 140-pounder. Lopez says he’s the best.
Tomorrow night we will find out.
