Round 1: Dirrell lands two strong rights but Han hand landed a good left hook. Han’s movement is unusual. Han floored at the end of the round with a tremendous straight right. Shame on Han for losing focus with less than 10 seconds to go. Dirrell 10-8 round.

Round 2: Great action; huge right hands by Dirrell, three in a row. Han taking big punishment early in round two. Han’s lack of head movement a detriment to a decent set of tools and unusual movement. Dirrell Round 10-9 round.

Round 3: Dirrell yelling at Han to come on! In the final thirty seconds, the fight erupts again. Dirrell lands three splendid uppercuts. Dirrell’s round 10-9. In his corner, Dirrell’s team yelling at him to stop being so aggressive.

Round 4: Dirrell taking too many punches – his corner has a point. Incredibly, the two fight a good fifteen seconds after the round ends. What is Dirrell, a consummate professional, thinking? Disgraceful. Lawrence Cole, the worst referee in boxing, attempts to admonish the fighters. Han round 10-9.

Round 5: Low blow by Dirrell late in a round that looks even. Dirrell fighting like he’s twenty-five. His flurry steals the round for me. Dirrell round 10-9.

Round 6: Ridiculous time out spares Han a completely unnecessary glove repair. Han ‘slips’ as the result of a punch some would argue…no knockdown. Dirrell round 10-9, despite Cole spoiling momentum – again.

Round 7: The horrible commentary from the foolish crew is itself noteworthy. Dirrell should go for a finish in my opinion and not leave this in the hands of screwy judges. Dirrell round 10-9. I have Dirrell WAY up.

Round 8: I hope a robbery doesn’t make me hurl my laptop at the big screen. Dirrell should simply jab more; no idea why he’s not. Body work from Dirrell is impressive, however. Dirrell wins round.

Round 9: Han starts well but then more beautiful and debilitating body work from Dirrell. There isn’t a punch Dirrell doesn’t know or hasn’t thrown in this fight. Han absorbing enormous blows at the end of the round. Dirrell 10-9.

Round 10: I feel Han was floored again - a punch caused his fingers to touch the mat but with Cole no knockdown is charged. After the final bell, a backflip from Dirrell who won this entertaining affair going away and on the road.

The ringside judges scored the 99-93 Dirrell (twice) and 100-89.

While brother Andre may be more athletic, Anthony (32-1, 24 KOs) is a bit tougher and more aggressive. At this stage in their careers, I’d say Anthony has fare more upside. I was impressed. The only thing he didn’t evidence tonight was head movement and if he can add that wrinkle back into his game and avoid taking quite so many shots – and his self-belief remains – he’s a huge threat to anyone at 168.
