He heads into next year on a 3-fight KO streak

He hails from Nalchik, Russia, but has been living in the sunny climes of southern California for the last few years. He heads into 2025 with a new managerial deal, a new promoter, and his tried-and-true training team.
Dariial Kuchmenov turned pro in 2021 and banged off 2 wins in his debut year. From the spring of 2022 to the spring of 2023, he banked 5 wins. But, this year he has only been in the ring once and that has been frustrating to career manager Steve Feder.
Speaking to MaxBoxing earlier this year, Feder expressed frustration but understanding of why Kuchmenov has been on the bench.
“Frankly, I think fighters hear about what he can do, and they get cold feet, they avoid him”, he said. “We’ll step him up, we’ll test him”, he said. “When fans get to know him, they will want to see more. He’s tough, exciting and he’s game to fight anyone”.
Standing 5’10”, and fighting at super featherweight, Kuchmenov can box and bang as his 6 stoppages in 8 fights will attest. He heads into next year on a 3-fight KO streak.
Training out of Freddie Roach’s famed Wild Card Boxing Club in Los Angeles, under former pro fighters Pepe Reilly and Ernie Zavala (along with expert conditioning coach Pedro Garcia), Kuchmenov is looking to stay busy and show what he can do in 2025.
He needed a platform and Feder’s recent announcement of his signing with Philadelphia’s former world champion Danny Garcia’s “Swift Promotions” was exciting news for Team Kuchmenov.
“We’re looking forward to a great 2025 with ‘The Wolf’, and “Swift Promotions”, said Feder from Los Angeles. “We recently signed with Danny Garcia’s promotional company, and we are looking forward to a great collaboration with Team Swift”, he said.
While only 22, Kuchmenov is ready and willing to fight anyone. Feder, who has described Kuchmenov as “one of the hardest working fighters I have seen”, in his almost 2-decade career in boxing, previously said they are looking to step up and will start calling out fighters if they have to.
Feder, who also just re-inked Kuchmenov to a new managerial deal, said to look for big things in 2025 from his undefeated fighter.
“He’s a fan-friendly fighter, he’s an exciting guy to watch in there”, said Feder. “Starting out the new year at 8-0, and we’re looking to add more KOs”, he said.
