Dubois stuns 96,000 boxing fans

Dubois, a 4-1 underdog, knocked Joshua down four times before 96,000 boxing fans at Wembley Stadium Saturday night.
Joshua showed intestinal fortitude by rising three times, but the fight was essentially over in round one.
Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) opened the fight aggressively. He landed a right. Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) fought back. Dubois landed several ramrod jabs. Joshua connected with a jab and uppercut. As Joshua pulled away with his head up, he was cold-cocked by with a huge overhand right. Down he went on his knees.
Joshua’s legs were still unsteady in round two. Dubois moved after him. His pressure was unnerving. Joshua looked unsure - while Dubois was calm and confident. A huge left landed. Joshua landed a right, but Dubois took it well.
In round three, Dubois clipped Joshua with a right. His legs shook. Ducking no longer seemed like an option. Dubois went to the body. Joshua was clubbed by a left that caused his ankle to turn over. Dubois followed up with combinations that knocked Joshua down again.
Joshua spun down to the canvas again in round four. He was groggy but courageous. He made it through the round like a once fearsome shark treading water. The former champion looked better as round five commenced.
He finally landed his power shot, the right, and the blow shook Dubois to his core, but only for a second. Joshua knew this was his chance. He connected with another right, but Dubois fired back. A second right from the IBF champ cracked Joshua on the left side of his face.
He collapsed as if shot.
This time, Joshua could not beat the count.
"I wasn’t going to be denied tonight; by any means necessary," said Dubois after the fight. “I knew it was my night tonight.
