This past Saturday night at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida, brothers, Joseph and Jeremy Adorno remained undefeated as lightweight’s Joseph and Jamaine Ortiz fought to a highly contested eight-round draw; while Jeremy took a four-round majority decision over Ramiro Martinez.
The Adorno brothers are managed by Split-T Management.
Joseph dropped Ortiz twice; once in round two, and again in round seven.
The fight was action filled from the onset as Adorno landed the more telling blows. He landed a left hook to the side of the head in round two that put Ortiz on the canvas. Adorno landed the heavier blows throughout, and in round seven, landed a big uppercut that sent Ortiz in between the ropes for a 2nd knockdown.
That knockdown could have been a fight ender, as Ortiz was prone in between the top and 2nd rope, but Ortiz was allowed to continue.
The card gave Ortiz a 76-74 advantage, while two cards were even at 75-75.
Adorno of Allentown, Pennsylvania is now 14-0-2.
