WBO Order Donnie Nietes Vs Aston Palicte Rematch Purse Bid

The World Boxing Organization Championship Committee has ordered the respective teams of WBO jr bantamweight champ Donnie Nietes and mandatory challenger Aston Palicte to reach an agreement to their title rematch within 15 days of today(Feb 5).

 

If agreement is not reached within the 15 days, a purse bid will be ordered with the bid set at $100,000.

 

Nietes and Palicte fought to a 12 round draw in September, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

 

The purse bid procedure can be called into play at any time during the negotiation process.
