John Gemino knocks out Carlos Ornalas

Featherweight John “Disaster” Gemino, 19-11-1-(9) knocked out Carlos Ornalas, 23-2-(12),in the seventh round at the Centro de Eventos in Tijuana, BCN, Mexico on Saturday.

 

Gemino landed the finishing punch after 0.47 of the seventh round but not before shipping some heavy shots from Ornalas.

 

On the undercard Maximino “Max” Flores and Dewayne Beamon battled to an eight round draw in a battle of the flyweights. The scores were 76-76 twice and 78-73

 

At Featherweight Sergio Sánchez scored a fourth round stoppage win over Julio Alberto Robles.
