Dino's Promoter Files Petition With California State Athletic Commission

Bogdan Dino’s promoter Greg Cohen has filed a “Petition for Change of Decision” with the California State Athletic Commission following his seventh round knockout defeat to Kubrat Pulev on March 23 at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California.

Bogdan Dino’s promoter Greg Cohen has filed a “Petition for Change of Decision” with the California State Athletic Commission following his seventh round knockout defeat to Kubrat Pulev on March 23 at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California.

 

Cohen has protested that Pulev committed at least one intentional foul as well as a number of rabbit punches while Dino was down and defenseless.

 

Pulev had a point taken off by referee Raul Caiz Jr. for the foul but when the fight resumed Dinu was knocked down twice more from on the back of his head, the bout was then called off.

 

Cohen’s official protest will be heard by the California commission, scheduled for May 14.
