After the fight, the respect shown towards each other from a happy, but respectful, Herring and an equally classy, albeit devastated, Frampton, was great to see.
WBO super featherweight world champion Jamel Herring won the biggest fight of his career, knocking out former two-division titleholder Carl Frampton in round six at Caesars Palace in Dubai Saturday night.
British odds makers (by far the best) are slightly with Frampton which surprises him and me. One of these guys must go home/stay home after this fight, because their career will be on intensive care.
On December 22nd, undefeated Josh Warrington (27-0, 6 KO’s) will make the 1st defence of his IBF world featherweight title against former champion Carl “The Jackal” Frampton (26-1, 15 KO’s).
