Promoter Nick Garone of X-Cel Worldwide has signed newly crowned NABA Lightweight Champion "Dangerous" Dorin Spivey (36-6, 29 KOs) from Portsmouth, Virginia, to a promotional agreement.
The battle-tested Spivey came into Garone’s radar with his sensational fourth-round stoppage of X-Cel fighter Meacher Major on November 6. In a career spanning 16 years, Spivey has gone to war with several top names in the sport and always accounted well for himself. Garone says the acquisition of Spivey means that with some strategic movement, he now has a one-two punch at the world lightweight championship with Spivey and Major.
