WBA Sanction Oquendo Vs Briggs For Heavyweight Crown

Americans Shannon Briggs and Fres Oquendo will fight for the WBA Regular Heavyweight title, possibly at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida on June 3.

 

The WBA ordered the fight after Australian Lucas Browne was ruled out as an opponent for the original ‘Regular’ title.

 

At age 45 Briggs will be attempting to two time heavyweight champ.
