WBC International featherweight champion Josh Warrington, 23-0-(4) scored a 12 round unanimous points win over Hisashi Amagasa, 30-6-2-( 20) at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, England on Saturday.
Warrington looked good early on but the taller came back in the middle rounds. The scores were 117-111, 118-111, and 120-107. Amagasa was cut badly over his right eye in round 11.
On the undercard In an IBF bantamweight final eliminator Stuart Hall scored a 12round unanimous points win over Rodrigo Guerrero . Hall well to score points behind his jab. Guerrero, who was cut over the right eye, moved up the gears in round four by attacking the body. In a close fight the scores were 117-111 on all three cards for Hall.
