Troyanovsky Retains IBF Crown In Moscow

Eduard Troyanovsky, 25-0-(22 ), retained his IBF junior welterweight title by scoring a second round stoppage over mandatory challenger Keita Obara, 16-2-1-(15), at the Krylia Sovetov in Moscow, Russia on Friday.

 

Troyanovsky smashed Obara through the ropes and out of the ring in round two before another attack forced the referee to stop the fight after 1:35.

 

On the undercard cruiserweight Rakhim Chakhkie, 26-2-(19), took out Alejandro Emilio Valori, 21-11-(15) inside two rounds, and Alexey Papin stopped Jorge Oliveira Rodriguez in the first round of a cruiserweight bout.
