'The Nordic Nightmare 'Returns Against Basile

Heavyweight contender Robert "The Nordic Nightmare" Helenius (23–1–0) will face the Argentinian veteran Gonzalo Omar Basile (68–11–0) in a 12 round fight at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, Finland on December 17th.

32 years old Helenius, who suffered his first defeat against Frenchman Johann Duhaupas in April, returned to the ring with a bang in September as he destroyed Kazakh-born Konstantin Airich (23–17–2) in one round. Now he is fighting his way back to the top level once more.

"My main goal is to win the world championship, of course," said the determined Finn in a press conference held in Helsinki, Finland.

The event, titled "All In", will also host three championship fights, as Edis Tatli defends his EBU lightweight belt, women’s WBC super featherweight world champion Eva Wahlström puts her title on the line and hot prospect Niklas Räsänen aims to claim the EU super middleweight crown. All three fighters hail from Finland.

The slick "Prince" Edis Tatli (28–1–0) will face Italian Manuel Lancia (14–1–1). Tatli, who won clearly his last two title defenses against Massimiliano Ballisai and Cristian Morales, told the press he has recently suffered from a lack of motivation, but now the highly skilled counterpuncher feels hungrier than ever.

"Training has felt really good. In December the crowd will see a different kind of Edis: smarter, faster and much tougher version of me," the champion said.

Eva Wahlström (18–0–1) has ruled her weight division with and iron grip, but now she faces her hardest challenger yet: the unbeaten Argentinian Anahi Esther Sanchezia (14–0–0) does not shun from exchanges and is driven to seize the championship.

"I’m happy to face such a tough opponent this time, a true fighter," Wahlström, who packs a formidable punch herself, praised her opposition.

Super middleweight contender Niklas Räsänen (13–0–0) is ready to take his first championship belt, as the skillful Finn challenges SpanishMariano Hilario (15–5–0) for the EU championship. Räsänen, who scored an impressive 10th round TKO victory over game opponent Emmanuel Feuzeu in September, waits calmly for his shot for the title.

"It’s a huge challenge for sure. However I have great faith that the belt will stay with me in Finland," said Räsänen.

The event will host four more fights, which will be announced during the upcoming weeks. All In is promoted by Dominus Boxing Group. The event will be televised by Viaplay.
