Sosa Stuns Fortuna To Claim Title In Beijing

Jason Sosa produced the fight of his life to claim the WBA super featherweight from the previously unbeaten champ Javier Fortuna via 11th round tko win in Beijing, China on Friday.

 

Sosa was behind on the judges cards until producing the equaliser after 0:45 of the 11th round. . Fortuna decked Sosa with a countering left in the fifth.

 

On the undercard Venezuelan fighter Nehomar Cermeno won the vacant WBA bantamweight after stopping Chinese opponent Jun Qui Xiao with a combination of punches after 1:11 of the round.
