Junior welterweight Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin, 19-0-(16), made short work of Jesus “Chino” Selig , 19-4-10(12) on Friday by taking him out in the first round at The Paramount in Huntington, New York.
Seldin connected with a big right hand to deck Seilig. An unsteady Sellig managed to beat the count but crushing right hand took him out after 2.49 of the opener.
On the same card junior welterweight Danny “El Gallo” Gonzalez, 12-0-1(5), scored an eight round unanimous decision win over Curtis “The Trap” Morton, 4-6-4-(0). The scores were 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.
In a welterweight bout Tyrone James ko’d Kasif Muhammad with a body shot after 2:57.
Light heavyweight prospect Naim Terbunja outscored Lanny Dardar over six rounds by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice.
Junior welterweight Terell Bostic outpointed Miguel Gloria over four rounds by scores of 40-36, 39-37 and 39-37.
Middleweight Laurend Stewart scored a second round tko win over Daniel Flores .Stewart decked Flores in the first round before the fight was stopped after 0 :31 of round two.
