Saunders Vs Andrade Set For Boston, Oct 20

Billy Joe Saunders will defend his WBO middleweight title against American challenge Demetrius Andrade at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on October 20.

 

The official announcement will be made at a press conference at the Anthem Kitchen and Market in Quincy Market, Boston on August 24.

 

The Matchroom Boxing USA in association with Ken Casey’s Murphy’s Boxing Promotions card will also feature female Irish favourite Katie Taylor defending her WBA and IBF lightweight titles against Brooklyn based Puerto Rican Cindy Serrano.

 

The show will feature three Murphy’s Boxing fighters, United States Marine Afghan Veteran MARK DELUCA from Whitman Ma., Framingham Firefighter DANNY O’CONNOR (currently on leave to focus on boxing) and NIALL KENNEDY a policeman from Wexford, Ireland all in major fights to be announced soon.

 

The promotion is also supporting a great cause. In addition to two World title clashes funds will be raised for First Responder related charities through the Boston Bruins foundation and offer special reduced individual and group tickets for all military-first responders and their families.
