Alex Saucedo, 21-0-(14), of Oklahoma City, remained unbeaten with a hard fought eight round unanimous decision win over Clarence Booth, 13-2-(7),from St Petersburg, Florida at the Sportsmen’s Lodges in Studio City, California on Saturday
Saucedo fought from the outside for most of the bout but did mix it when necessary to nick a hard fought 79-73, 79-73, 78-74 points win on all three judges cards.
On the same card unbeaten welterweight Egis Kavaliauskas, 12-0-(11), scored a second round tko win over Prenice Brewer, 17-4-1-(6). A left hook to the body left to the head decked Brewer. Brewer managed to get to his feet but was soon decked for a second time. Brewer rose again but Kavaliauskas’s onslaught forced the referee to step in and stop the fight after 1:24.
