WBA super bantamweight “super” champion Guillermo Rigondeaux, 17-0-(11 ), retained his title with a second round tko over Jazza Dickens, 22-2-(7) at the Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday.

Dickens was forced to retire on his stool at the end of the second round after suffering a broken jaw in two places. The first round was very quiet with nothing to separate the two, likewise in the second with the exception of a big right hand from Rigondeaux that did the damage.

Speaking after the fight Rigondeaux said: “I ripped his jaw out. All those guys that want their jaws ripped out, I’m here! Not 100 of those guys add up to one of me. I want hard fights.”
