Kubrat Pulev, 23-1-(12) claimed the vacant European heavyweight title with a hard fought 12 round points victory over Dereck Chisora, 25-6-(17) on Saturday night at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg Germany.
Pulev produced the more eye catching work in the eyes of two judges, who made him a 116-112, 118-110 winner while the third official made Chisora the victor by a score of 115-113
On the undercard former WBA interim super middleweight champ Vincent Feigenbutz scored a third round stoppage win over Crispulo Javier Andino.
In a cruiserweight bout Artur Mann won an eight round unanimous decision over Valery Brudov. Another cruiserweight bout saw Noel Gevor outpoint Cristian Javier Medina over 10 rounds and in a junior welterweight bout Anthony Yigit outpointed Philip Sutcliffe over eight rounds in a battle of unbeaten fighters.
