Unbeaten WBO heavyweight champ Joseph Parker, from New Zealand, has already started the war of words with IBF and WBA titleholder Anthony Joshua by labelling him ‘the King of Steroids.
The pair clash in a heavyweight unification bout at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on March 31 and Parker started the trash talk early.
Speaking to Radio Sport Breakfast, the 26 year old said: “They call me the king of pies, but I call him the king of steroids. Who knows? If you’re that big and that muscly, there’s something wrong. I have heard the word, I have looked at him and I have seen. So I don’t know… it may be true, or maybe not.
Parker, 24-0-(18),added: .“I don’t know how he’ll respond… he may be angry or upset at what we’ve been saying. It’s part of the game. I am not accusing him of using steroids, but I am saying it is a possibility”.
