Pacquiao Gets Vargas on November 5

Fomer multi weight world champion Manny Pacquiao is set to return and fight again on November 5 and the opponent will be WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas. The announcement was made by Pacquiao’s boxing manager, Michael Koncz on Wednesday.

 

“Retirement doesn’t suit Manny right now,” Koncz told the Los Angeles Times. “It is amazing what training and fighting does for him.”

 

 

 

After defeating American Timothy Bradley on April 9, ’Pacman’ announced his retirement in order to spend more time on his political career. Pacquiao was elected to the Philippine Senate a few months ago..
