Osawa Edges Out Mejia Over 10 Tough Rounds

World ranked featherweight Hiroshige Osawa, 32-4-4-(19 ), scored a hard fought 10 round win over the previously  unbeaten Nicaraguan based Alexander Mejia , 8-1-( 4 ),In Kadoma, Osaka, Japan on Sunday.

Osawa squeaked past the determined Mejia via  majority decision  by scores of 96-95, 97-96 and 96-96.

Osawa’s big mistake was getting mixed up in a fire fight instead using all his boxing skill to make life easier for himself.

Osawa used all his experience and skills dug deep into his reserves to edge the 10^th round and take a hard fought decision on the judges cards.
