Naoya Inoue Retains WBO Crown

Naoya Inoue, 11-0-(9 ), from Japan retained his WBO super flyweight title by battering challenger Petchbangborn Kokietgym, 38-8-1-( 18 ), before finally knocking him out after 3:03 of the 10th round in Zama, Kanagawa, Japan on Sunday.

 

Inoue control the fight from the start to finish but the Thai challenger proved a strong and highly resilient foe until Inoue finally broke him down in the 10th round.
