Lubin Out-Points Macias/Elegele Ko's De Jesus

Unbeaten teenage prospect Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin extended his record to 14-0-(10), Sunday by out-pointing a tough but outclassed Jose De Jesus Macias, 18-6-2-(9), over 10 rounds at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee, Florida.

The 20 year-old decked Macias in round five before going on to secure a clear 99-90, 100-89, 100-89 verdict on all three judges cards.

On the undercard Joseph Elegele, 15-2-(11), scores a sixth round knockout win over Alex “El Pollo” De Jesus, 21-2-(13), from Puerto Rico in a welterweight bout. Elegele had De Jesus in trouble a number of times before decking him in round three. Elegele dropped De Jesus again in round six and again moments later. The fight was stopped after 0-56 of the sixth round.
