Wladimir Klitschko and his manager, Bernd Boente, have insinuated today that they may well take legal action against team Fury for what they have called a breach of the rematch contract set out.

Klitschko took to his Twitter account to share a short video addressing his fans, in which he states team Fury have, "tried to change the terms of the already signed contract" from the first bout between the pair.

These words are echoed by Klitschko’s manager Boente who, speaking with Boxing News, even went as far to say he is "doubtful" as to whether the bout will be able to take place. Considering the wait boxing fans have had to endure already, these are not words they will want to be reading.

Thankfully, Boente did maintain Klitshcko’s own sentiment of wanting to have the rematch, stating, regardless of any possible legal action their "door is always open." Whether the allegations are true or not, boxing fans will be waiting with baited breath to hear what happens next in the build up to the Heavyweight rematch.

With the legal action having to take place within German jurisdiction, due to the original contracts being signed over there. This could well have a knock on effect to both men’s camps in the build up to their hotly anticipated rematch which is pencilled in for October 29th.

There has been no statement regarding the allegations from team Fury as of yet.
