Khan On the Limit At Weigh In

Amir Khan made the 147lbs welterweight limit at Friday’s weigh in ahead of his non title clash against Samuel Vargas from Colombia at the Birmingham Arena in the middle of England on Saturday night but not before he was forced to strip naked.

 

Vargas made weight more comfortably, stepping on the scale at 146lbs.

 

Speaking to Sky Sports afterwards Khan said: "Everything had to come off today and that’s the first time that has happened. We made the weight so I’m glad. I’m now going to hydrate myself, eat well and be ready for tomorrow night.
