WBC light flyweight champ Shiro Ken, 13-0-(7), took just 1.58 of the second round to destroy Ganigan Lopez, 29-8-(18), to retain his title in Tokyo, Japan on Friday night.
A single well placed punch to the body nailed Lopez to the canvas for the full count in his third title defence.
The first round was pretty quiet with not many punches thrown but in the second round the 26 year-old connected with a right hand to the body to deck his 36 year-old opponent and end the fight.
Speaking after the fight Ken said: “I didn’t expect such a quick finish.”
