Guinn Next Up For Fury

Undefeated heavyweight star Hughie Lewis Fury will now face seasoned American Dominick Guinn on March 26 at The SSE Arena, Wembley, following an injury to original opponent Nagy Aguilera.

The fight will be a 12-round international heavyweight contest.

Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Guinn was once a highly-rated young heavyweight prospect tipped for the top by many boxing experts. ’The Southern Disaster’ scored wins against the likes of Audley Harrison, Duncan Dokiwari and Michael Grant, as well as a spectacular knockout of Jean-Francois Bergeron, and was known for his smooth skills, good defence and durability.

Now 40, Guinn, 35-10-1 (24 KOs), continues to ply his trade at a good level and has yet to be stopped in an accomplished 15-year professional career. His last fight against Donnie Davis in Salt Lake City ended in a first-round knockout win.
