Gonzalez Stops Savi In 2

Former multi weight world champion Jhonny Gonzalez, 60-10-(50) scored a routine second round ko win over Justin Savi, 28-5-2-(18) at the Centro de Convenciones Tlanepantla in Mexico State on Saturday.

 

Gonzalez decked Savi in round one and again in round two. The fight was stopped but Savi voiced his disaproval. Gonzalez retained his WBC International silver super featherweight title and clinched his 50th stoppage.

 

On the undercard former IBF junior middleweight champion Carlos “King” Molina, 25-6-2-(8) outpointed Reyes “Rey” Sanchez, 26-8-2-(15.. After eight rounds the Scores were 79-73, 78-74 and 80-72.
