Gonzalez Stops Martin In 10

Former world featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez scored a 10th round stoppage win over Christopher “The San Diego Kid” Martin on Saturday night at the Deportivo Agustín Ramos Millan in Toluca, Mexico.

 

Gonzalez,who dominated the 10 rounds, decked the brave Martin in the fifth and 10th rounds before his cornerman threw in the towel.

 

On the undercard former IBF junior middleweight champ “King” Carlos Molina won a razor thin eight round split decision over Javier Prieto, the scores were 77-75 for Prieto, 78-74, 77-75 for Molina.
