By Lwazi Ndzobongo:

Azinga Fuzile destroyed Tshifiwa Munyai here at Emperors Palace, East of Johannesburg, South Africa, by stopping him in the 3rd round of their scheduled 10 round fight.

Fuzile knocked Munyai down in the 2nd round for a standing eight count, with a well timed left hand to the chin. The end came at two minutes forty-one seconds of the following round after Munyai chose not to continue, this after being knocked down twice in the round.

Fuzile, who is still completing his grade 12, took the role of teacher in outclassing the experienced Munyai. His southpaw stance and speed were too much for the aging Munyai, who had no answer to his young foe. Nicknamed Golden boy and using the Money shoulder roll, Fuzile was all class and should be the favorite going into the final of the Super 4 Featherweight competition.

Fuzile improves to 9-0 (4) and Munyai dropped to 28-5-1 (16).

The man to meet Fuzile in the final will be Lerato Dlamini, who beat a lethargic Simphiwe Vetyeka by majority decision. The judges scored the fight 97-93, 95-94 and 95-95 in awarding a deserving Dlamini the fight.

Vetyeka was favorite heading into the bout due to his experience and having faced the worlds best as a former three time world champion. Dlamini was stronger and beat the ring rusty Vetyeka to the punch for the majority of the bout.

He improved to 10-1 (6) and will have to put up a master performance to have any chance against Fuzile. Vetyeka dropped to 29-4 (17).

Ryno Liebenberg used all his experience to beat Patrick Mukala over 10 absorbing rounds of boxing. Liebenberg was his usual come forward self, throwing lots of punches and was simply too strong for Mukala. Mukala was throwing pot shots and was unable to keep Liebenberg off him. The judges scored the bout unanimously 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94. Liebenberg who had promised to retire should he lose, improved to 18-6 (12), whilst Mukala suffered his first loss and dropped to 12-2-1 (6).
