World title contender Jose Felix Jr. kept his world title hopes alive on Friday by scoring a third round tko win over Alan Herrera at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, California.
Felix decked Herrera in the third round then followed up with a series of punches to forced the referee to stop the fight after1:42.
On the same card welterweight prospect Egis “The Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas was made to fight all the way to claim an eight round unanimous decision win over Cameron Krael. The scores were 77-75 on all tree cards.
In a junior welterweight bout Russian Maxim Dadashev outpointed Eddie Diaz over six rounds. The scores were 60-54 twice and 60-53.
