Ellis Scores 'Speedy' Win Over Gomez

Welterweight Rashidi “Speedy” Ellis, 17-0-(12), scored an eye catching first round knockout win over Eddie “E-Boy” Gomez on Friday night at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

 

Ellis dropped Gomez twice before the fight was stopped after 0.79.

 

In a Featherweight bout Ronny Rios, 27-1-(11) scored a sixth round stoppage win over Roy Tapia.

 

On the undercard super featherweight Ryan Martin went 17-0-(10). by scoring a fourth round tko win over Yardley Suarez. Martin decked Suarez in round four before the fight was stopped.
