WBO junior featherweight champ Isaac Dogboe retained his title and unbeaten record at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday night when he destroyed Japanese challenger, Hidenori Otake inside one round.
After a slow start Dogboe, 20-0-(14), connected with a well placed left hook to send the Japanese challenger heavily to the canvas. The brave challenger managed to rise to his feet and continue but Dogboe,31-3-3-(14), decked Otake again with an overhand right and continued to punish him until the referee stepped in to stop the fight after 2.18 of the opener.
