Deontay Wilder Makes Anthony Joshua An Offer He May Not Be Able To Refuse

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder’s team has made a $50m offer to fight WBA/IBF and WBO titleholder Anthony Joshua in his next fight.

 

According to Skysports.com Wilder’s representative Shelly Finkel and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn are due to hold a meeting on Friday.

 

In an Instagram video Wilder said that he has sent an email To Hearn and told Joshua, ‘The money’s in the bag’. In the same Instagram clip Joshua said he will happily accept $50 million for his end of the deal.

 

Hearn is currently in New York, where he is promoting his American middleweight Daniel Jacobs, who faces Maciej Sulecki at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
