DeeJay Kriel Claims IBF Crown With 12th Round Stoppage

In a featherweight 10 rounder former world champ Marlon Tapales (32-2, 15 KOs) stopped Fernando Vargas (34-14-3, KOs) in the fifth round.

 

At welterweight Ukrainian Ivan Redkach (22-4-1, 17 KOs) knocked out Tyrone Harris (26-14, 16 KOs) in the first round.

 

 

In other action Hugo Centeno, Jr. (27-2, 14 KOs) won a fourth round tko decision over Oscar Cortez (27-4, 14 KOs). Centeno scored a knockdown prior to the fight being stopped after a clash of heads in the fourth.
