Crawford Released On Appeal

WBC/WBO junior welterweight champ Terence “Bud” Crawford has been released from jail in Omaha, Nebraska whilst his appeal goes ahead.

 

Crawford was jailed for 90 days earlier this week in his hometown when Judge Marcena Hendrix sentenced him after an altercation at a local automobile body shop.’

 

The unbeaten champ was detained for about eight hours before his attorney successfully posted a $10,000 bond.

 

World Boxing Organisation President Paco Valcarcel Tweeted: “As a criminal trial lawyer for 42 years, I was shocked when I read the sentence imposed on TC. Never seen such sentence for alleged charges” .
