light heavyweight contender Dominic Bösel, 21-0-(7), remained unbeaten at the Erdgas Sportarena in Halle, Germany on Saturday night by scoring a 12 round unanimous decision win over Balazs Kelemen, 24-2-(13).
The win by scores of 120-107, 119-108 and 118-109 meant Bösel retained his WBO Intercontinental title and the vacant WBA Continental championship.
Bösel was always in control and staggered Kelemen in round two with a left hook. Bösel floored the Hungarian in round eight with a left hand. Kelemen was rocked a number of times but managed to survive to the final bell.
On the undercard Junior welterweight Felix Lamm, 11-1-1-(4), nicked a 10 round unanimous decision win over Jan Holec, 6-3-1-(3) to claim the vacant German International title. The scores were 98-92, 96-94 and 99-91.
In a cruiserweight bout Adam Deines, 6-0-(2), decisoned Björn Blaschke, 10-7-1-(6), over 10 rounds to claim the vacant German title. The scores were 99-91 twic and 100-90.
