Each week, Gerry will answer as many of your questions as he can on the Sirius XM radio show “Friday Night at The Fights,” a show Gerry co-hosts with Randy “The Commish” Gordon, former Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission.
The show airs every Friday on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208 from 6 – 8 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
Our first question comes from Bernie Campbell, who asks:
Armenia is a poor, relatively unknown spot on the map and yet it has produced three great champions in the last few years, Vic Darchinyan, Arthur Abraham, and Vanes Martirosyan! Gerry, why do you think Armenian fighters are so good?
Our next question comes from Bobby L., who asks:
Gerry, what do you think really happened that caused the Shane Mosley-Anthony Mundine fight to be canceled?
Gerry answered the following questions on last week’s show:
Our first question comes from Paul J., who asked:
Gerry, I thought Tim Bradley handled Juan Manuel Marquez rather easily. So, does that give [Bradley] his credibility back after the Manny Pacquiao fight?
Gerry feels Bradley is an excellent fighter who deserves respect from the boxing community in the first place.
Our next question comes from Phil D., who asked:
Hey Gerry, I saw you on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and Randy on “30 for 30: No Mas.” How about you guys do a remake of “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”?
…Gerry and Randy are considering their options…
