Each week, Gerry will answer as many of your questions as he can on the SiriusXM radio show, “Friday Night at The Fights,” a show that Gerry co-hosts with Randy “The Commish” Gordon, the former Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission.
The show airs every Friday on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208 from 6 – 8 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
Our first question comes from Bernard Campbell, who asks:
Gerry, why do you think it is that Bernard Hopkins is not really promoting his upcoming fight with Tavoris Cloud?
Our next question comes from Bobby L., who asks:
Gerry, what’s the one fight you’d like to see happen in 2013?
Gerry answered the following questions on last week’s show:
Our first question came from Billy D., who asked:
Gerry, it was great to see boxing on network TV again! Once again, we had a controversial decision but my question is: How important is it for boxing to be back on network TV?
Gerry feels it is extremely important for boxing to be on network TV because it allows casual fans to see quality boxing and catch fighters on the way up.
Our next question came from Buddy M., who asked:
Gerry, how do you see the upcoming fight between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero? Do you think Guerrero will be a challenge to Mayweather?
Gerry feels Guerrero is a very tough fighter but also feels that Mayweather will ultimately be too much for him.
